Fender-style oval head pickguard screws. They’re a direct replacement for standard pickguard mounting on Strat®, Tele® and similar guitars and basses. 2.9 mm body × 12.7 mm (½”) length.

Product Details

These oval head wood screws are made for standard Fender-style pickguard mounting. They match the size and profile of the screws used on most Fender and Fender-style instruments, so you can swap them straight in without drilling or modifying anything.

The oval head sits neatly on the pickguard surface. It holds the guard firmly in place without cracking or marking it, and gives the clean, traditional look players expect. They work well for replacing lost or damaged screws, upgrading to a fresh set on a new pickguard, or finishing off a custom build.

Uses

Designed for standard Fender-style pickguard mounting. Please check the size against your existing screws if your instrument isn’t a Fender or Fender-style model, because some brands and vintage or import models use different sizes.
If a screw hole has become stripped, fill it with a wooden toothpick or dowel and glue before refitting.
Don’t overtighten. Tighten until the pickguard is secure. Overtightening can crack the pickguard or strip the hole.
On a new or unfinished body, drill a small pilot hole first to avoid splitting the wood or chipping the finish.

Notes

For the best results, use fine cutting tools. Remove the protective film, only after fitting. If the protective film comes off, apply a masking viynl in a dust free environment to protect the sheet as you work with it.
