The pickguard has been designed as a direct replacement to the stock pickguard the Squier Jag bass comes with. There should be no need to alter or create any new screw holes in your Jaguar Bass if the product is used as a direct replacement to the stock pickguard supplied with the signature bass. However – you will need to expand the pickup route to accomodate the correct pickup positioning.
