Pickguard.co.uk started almost by accident back in 2021. I was trying to modify a guitar and I couldn’t find the right pickguard anywhere. That frustration led me down a bit of a rabbit hole – figuring out how to make my own pickguards, source quality materials, and building something that looked and felt right. Before I knew it, I wasn’t just fixing a problem; I was building a brand that could help other players do the same.

Owning the domain pickguard.co.uk was pure luck – a lazy domain name search on a whim that turned into something much bigger. But that’s what life (and music) is all about: seeing an opportunity and running with it. I don’t want to gatekeep the craft; I want to open it up. Every guitar deserves something special, and every guitarist deserves the tools to make it their own.
